I like your idea for this role-play, seems pretty interesting. I like that the characters aren't just random citizens but part of the king's army.
Was wondering if you minded me sending in a character sheet? o.O

Also, what do you mean by 'motives'. Like, are characters going to possibly be against the king? Are they going to have personal agendas for what they do?

And what goes for magic? There's the basic four, light, darkness, then you have more minor elements such as sound or creating things from thought.
I was hoping to go for control of darkness, but more like...controlling water, but not so...solid, or reliable. For example;

Elda stood there panting, facing the ever growing crowd racing towards her. Sweat dripped from her forehead as she watched them consume the surrounding ground before her. Closing her eyes, she consciously relaxed her toes, feet, legs, thighs, abdomen, arms, wrists, hands, neck and then her mind. Opening her eyes quickly, Elda shot out her right hand, palm open.
"Shadows! Come!"
Soon, dark, shadowy, wave-like tentacles erupted from shadows off the ground. As they waved around sporadically, Elda flicked her fingers at the approaching group, "Attack!"
The shadows rushed at the mass, grabbing individuals, smashing them against each other and the ground. Some were consumed from the feet up by the devouring shadows, screaming until their mouths were eaten up, too."

Hi, thanks for the interest, here are some answers.

By motives I mean, what does your character believe in? Are they fighting for money, freedom or something else? DO they wish to be famous or to surpass the king?

For magic, as I said, anything goes pretty much. What you have written there is fine and very good. The magic in this can be from anything, any show, movie or book.
