Immigration Fraud: 6 lawyers and 10 law firms busted for filing fake ...

Sadly, here we go again. Another report detailing the unethical and illegal conduct of a few individuals engaged in fraudulent conduct to get people green cards.

This time it involved a group of lawyers, paralegals, and translators who schemed to submit hundreds of fake asylum applications to the USCIS. Applicants were coached on what to say, fake testimonies created, and translators even mistranslated applicants? answers to asylum officers? questions, if the applicant gave an answer that wouldn?t help his application. Incredibly brazen.

In the end, a number of people have been arrested and not only will the lives of these applicants be ruined, but so will the families of the principals involved in the scheme. Is it worth it to break the law to satisfy greed and have an ill-gotten reputation as an attorney who ?gets things done?? No way.
